November/December: The Administrative Committee invites all residents to submit candidates for the SBNC. Anyone with 10 supporting signatures may run for a seat. Our goal is to have at least two candidates for each of the two seats available in each of the five elementary school areas. The deadline for submissions is November 21, 2011.
January: Elections for the SBNC will be held on January 17, 2012 at the Scarsdale Middle School. Hours will be 7:00 am to 10:00 am and 2 pm to 9:00pm.
January-March: The SBNC solicits community input and nominates one candidate for each School Board vacancy. The SBNC is scheduled to meet on the following dates in 2012: January 22, 29, February 5, 12, March 4, 11, (18, 25, if required).
May: A Village-wide vote on School Board candidates and the School Budget is held. This is scheduled to occur on May 15, 2012 at the Scarsdale Middle School. Hours will be 7am to 9pm.
